Honest and fair. That's all you can ask for in an auto shop these days. And it's hard to find someone you can trust. Well, Hud's has proven themselves as a trustworthy business to me. They don't try to upsale or mislead you, and their prices are always fair. As an electrician, I know labor costs money. They do a good job labor wise and typically pretty quick too. They also stand by their warranty for any type of work done. They have taken care of my daughters car multiple times (it's an old car) and have always done a good job. I would definitely recommend Hud's for any type of auto work.

I took my truck to Hud's to get an alignment done. Previously a Chevrolet dealer did some front end work to my pickup (tie rod ends, idler and pitman arm) and claimed their alignment machine was broke. I called another dealer and told me there was too many variables after I asked if they could get my truck aligned perfectly on the dot. I had it aligned at an NTB after that but it never was really perfect. I put up with an alignment that was within spec but not right for around 15k miles. I got referred to Hud's from Ted at discount tire right down the road for this alignment service. After taking my truck to Hud's it now drives perfectly straight down the road just like it did when it was new. I got great service, a quick time frame, and a fair charge. Nice doing business with honest guys for once.

We have dealt with Hud's twice. They operate their business with the utmost old school values of integrity and honesty with no upselling or bait & switch. Cameron, who handles the front desk, is very helpful and a real peach. We had Hud's check over our 10 year Camry that we were giving to our son. I needed to know it was safe and mechanically sound. They thoroughly inspected the engine, checking all seals, thingamabobs and whatchamacallits. Obviously, I know nothing about cars and Hud's could have sold me any service or parts replacement. They told me that the motor was safe and sound. The extremely reasonable charge was worth the peace of mind. BONUS: Hud's provided a ride home and picked me up to get our car. We have referred friends to Hud's and they were all pleased. Deal with confidence!

I was in a trip from Colorado to San Antonio texas and in the middle of the trip my AC started leaking inside and outside the car for some reason so I searched for a mechanic near me and Hud's auto service pop up so when I got there the guy at the front desk told me the earliest he could get my car checked out was going to be the next day but I explained that I had to be at san antonio before 5 that day so, he asked one of the mechanics if he could check what was wrong with my car, he said yes so, the mechanic fix the leak very fast so we could get on our way both guys were very professional and nice I totally recommend this place.

We are from Clovis. Had new tires and rim's put on at a shop and we noticed all kind of noise while driving to Lubbock this morning. Pulled in and Aaron helped us out, he tightened all the lug nuts and lent us his torque wrench to check the lug nuts on the way home, and no charge. They were great. Would recommend them.

Awesome service! I brought my 2016 Ram Ecodiesel here for a forced regeneration, and I had to limp it here. They were awesome with it, very inexpensive and they even ran my check engine light and learned it was the fuel filter throwing the code. They were very nice at the desk, I am always a little cautious because I have been treated badly by other mechanics, but they did not talk down to me like the other ones have. I will always recommend Hud's now!

04-04-2024 Was referred by a friend to take my vehicle here due to having a coolant leak. They found the leak and replaced my radiator and thermostat. My vehicle was ready the next morning. Also let me know they found an oil leak also. Very informative on what was going on, what needed replaced and answered all my questions. Cameron and Hud were both super nice! Great customer service! Will come back here in the future next time I need something fixed! Fair pricing! Also gave me over $120 off for being a first time customer!

This is by far the best auto service in Lubbock! I have had so much trouble getting my car into a shop until I came across Huds. My car got in, and out of the repair shop so quickly! We brought our Dodge 2500 to Huds because A&B Muffler highly recommended them. We had previously taken our truck to Frontier Dodge 3x and one time they said it was the catalytic converter and would cost over $7000. The last time they couldn't figure out the issue, so we took it to A&B Muffler, they tested it for FREE and said it was good, so we went to Huds. They got us up and going quickly! The guys are honest and reliable!

We had an issue with the RV A/C in the truck where it was sometimes blowing air but also seemed to turn off -the whole family sweating in Texas July heat and had a long trip ahead on July 4th weekend. The RV place we rented at, if we ever got through to call, indicated it was likely a sticky unit And to try turning to cold then hot then cold and see if it would help (and then they left as we waited on hold).. it did not and we were on our own. We stopped for Freon but Freon was full. My father found HUD's and they were a lifesaver; God is good. I barely had any money in my wallet so I gave him what I had. We cannot say enough good things about this place, the employees, and highly recommend if you are in or around the Lubbock area to go here if needed! To the mechanic and team at HUD's-Thank you for all you do- we appreciate you and wish there were more places like this everywhere and closer to our house. We would be lifelong customers.

We were from out of state and we had Issues with our diesel truck late in the afternoon. We looked for a close diesel repair place, and they answered the phone immediately as several put us on lengthy holds. We asked them for help on short notice, and they enthusiastically told us the would clear a bay and start as soon as we could get there. They recommend a towing company for us very fairly priced. We arrived there at 5pm and they told us the 2 scenarios and they were able to fix it and even stayed a little past 6pm so we could be on the road. Their kind demeanor and professionalism throughout a very frustrating ordeal was above and beyond what I have ever received from any repair shop or dealership. The service manager even offered to give us a ride to a nearby restaurant. Would recommend to anyone who needed car repairs.
